the BIG idea !

our group made on game demo on math. we encourge our game to younger kids to be able to handke money adn know how to give the right amount back. We started changing different things as the game went on to make the game more interesting. We worked together by giving each of our teammates a certain project to work on then we would show eachother what we did. Our mesage to the game is to teach younger kids adn anyone who needs to learn how  to return correct amount of money. You can play the game by doing the problems and if you get it wrong you will have another chance. we used adobe flash CS4 professional. the hardest part about making a game was getting all the scripts perfect.

what could we change?

If i could change the game i would have probably made it a little harder maybe a fill in not multiple choice but ours is good for younger kids. I think we should of put a hint or help botton but other than that it's not to bad.

demo making

Our group went through each slide to make sure it looked good. Max made a slide of what they would see if they won or lost the game, It turned our pretty good. We would have a try again if they happen to get it worng. I think it turned out not too bad.

paper-prototype

Me, andrew, and max made our gaming about returning money. This game is to try to teach people who don't know how to return change, learn to do so. On our prototype he had about six pieces of paper explaining our game and how it works. Our game is pretty, we have a main screen, rules and explination, a self you pick the item from, and then you give them maybe $20.00 for a $6.00 hat. the next side will have four chocies to pick from a,b,c,d chose the right one and it comes up with a correct. Get the awenser wrong n' it says sorry wrong awnser, try again. We did what we planed on doing and it worked out great!Thats pretty much our whole paper-prototype game. :) 

! SnOw StOrM !

 It's January 11, 2010. Today we are getting out of school at 1:30 because we are supposed to be getting hit with a major snow storm. The west and east of us both got hit wit the storm, so now they are hitting west virginia at once. We are expected to get around a foot. I figure we won't be in school for the rest of the week :) Not that it isn't good thing though :p haha. I guess we will just have to wait and see what comes and what doesn't.

game questions....

The unstoppable ninja snail force just got done our paper proto-type. We are getting ready to film within a couple days. Im pretty sure our game is on the right track and it is going smooth. We are taking our time, and making sure everything works ok. I think everyone in this class has learned a lot this year. I hope younger kids or anyone who is not very good at counting change bennifit from this game and be able to do it or get better at counting change.
